As a 501c3 organization, South Side Suzuki accepts donations to provide high quality music education and programming on the south side of Chicago. See our current fundraising initiatives below!
Student scholarships. South Side Suzuki is dedicated to providing high quality musical education to as many students and families as possible and understand that financial limitations are often the first barrier to assessing this education. Donating to our scholarship fund will help us provide private lessons and group class to families regardless of income status.
Community Concerts. SSSC students and teachers love performing in our community! We have performed at events such as the Hyde Park Book Fair, HPNC’s tot lot, the 61st Street Farmers Market, The Logan Center Family Saturdays, local church services, and many more! These events benefit everyone: we share our music with our south side community, the students gain valuable performing opportunities, and more people learn about SSSC. However, these concerts have associated costs that add up quickly! Contributions from people like you can helps continue to bring classical music to our diverse community.
