Jesse Dunn
Piano Faculty and Collaborative Artist
Jesse Dunn (M.M.) is a Chicago based educator, composer and performer. While earning his bachelor’s in composition, Jesse studied with Dr. Aaron Stampfl and took 2nd place in the Wheaton College Keyboard Concerto Competition. In his graduate studies with Dr. Winston Choi, Jesse received honors in chamber music at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Fusing his conservatory disciplines with free improvisation, Jesse engages in Chicago’s highly collaborative soul and jazz scene, performing his own music and collaborating with various artists across the city. Jesse instructs piano students of all ages in group and private lessons, establishing a classical foundation to enable students to perform proficiently within various styles. In addition to being on faculty at the South Side Suzuki Cooperative, Jesse is adjunct professor of Composition and Form at the Moody Bible Institute.
